The butt does not actually come off, and it most likely does not freeze either. If it did, then walking would be difficult, especially if all the muscle tissue froze. If you have any fat there, I don't even want to think about it freezing. I'd suggest warm clothing. I'd hate to see what happened if you really froze your butt off.
