Fit Nat Update
02.03.04 (1:40 pm)   [edit]
After a month of eating carefully, making sure I am not sacrificing my health for weight loss, exercising practically every day and being super-positive, I have lost exactly 1.5 lbs and I see no increased muscle-definition worth mentioning. I suppose it is too early to look for definition but less than 2 bleedin' pounds!! BLOODY HELL! I could've lost more weight jerking off daily. However, I've decided to stick to the plan. Quitting is not an option. I have also thrown my bathroom scale in the garbage and replaced it with a new model hoping for increased accuracy and reduced irritation. I am so frustrated!

Ah well, back to the grind. WHINE SCREAM GROAN CRY. And one. WHINE SCREAM GROAN CRY. And two. WHINE SCREAM GROAN CRY. And three. WHINE SCREAM GROAN CRY. And four....

You're funny. Are you really sticking to the plan, or just convincing yourself that you are?

I'm sticking to it, at least for another month.

Nat, don't be discouraged by the numbers! It doesn't mean you haven't lost fat. Weight can be decieving. You're probably losing fat and gaining muscle - here's an example of what I have learned (LOL): One pound of fat takes up this much space @@@@, whereas one pound of muscle takes up this much @@. Muscle weighs a lot more, but takes up less space. What Sheila (my trainer) is having me do, is doing cardio first, to lose the fat, then later on, we'll start weight training to build the muscle up! I've been staying away from the scale (except for the first time I went to the gym), because the numbers can really discourage you. Just keep at it, I know you can do it! Watch what you eat; it's not the fat you look for, it's the calories. Try to eat less and less of them, so you're eating less than you're burning. OMG now I have to go to the gym today! it's fun isn't it lol :P

Your results sound typical :) Don't worry about it!! Keep up the good work!! Slow and steady wins the race :)

There's only one thing worse than being fat.....
Being thin.

The fuller figure gives me the twinge.
